Hillhouse at Greenmead

Hillhouse at Greenmead, Livonia, Michigan

The Hiilwood House at Greenmead is a historic, Greek Revival style home, originally built in 1841 and is listed on the National Register for Historic Places.  Now owned by the City of Livonia, the home still had much of the original character and charm with many of the rooms in their original condition.

Neumann Smith was the architect of record for the renovation with the project competively bid.  Integrity Buiding Group, LLC was selected as the Construction Manager for the project.

The project entailed the total removal of all paint on the exterior down to bare wood and the entire house repainted.  Masonry tuckpointing was completed throughout and the existing wood windows were restored.  On the interior, the basement Billiard Room was restored and the balance of the rooms were refinished.

More information on the Hillhouse at Greenmead can be found at the City of Livonia's website.
